What they asked us

Boardwalk Boutique Hotel approached us with two main goals. Firstly, Boardwalk aimed to differentiate themselves from the typical high-rise hotels found in Aruba. They desired a brand that would authentically represent their unique boutique hotel concept and offer a refreshing alternative to the mainstream.
 

Secondly, they wanted to ensure that their team was aligned with their vision and values. As their operations expanded, it became crucial for everyone to work together towards delivering an exceptional guest experience.

In response, we embarked on a extensive brand exercise. Our focus was twofold: aligning the team with Boardwalk's vision and creating a distinct brand identity. Through collaborative efforts, we developed a revitalized brand that captures the essence of Boardwalk's character.

 

The result is a unified team and a brand that reflects Boardwalk's distinctive boutique experience. Now, they are able to provide guests with an exceptional and memorable stay that sets them apart from the typical high-rise hotels in Aruba.

We have had the pleasure & honor of working with Dries and Yuri since 2018. We initially worked on the re-branding of Boardwalk Boutique Hotel in Aruba. The outcome was a beautiful and strong logo & website/online presence, incredible video en photo collateral and a workable brand- & social media book. However, what surprised me most is how Dries & Yuri were able to expose our core values, mission & vision and overall purpose. By means of workshops and assignments they guided us to unravel and clearly define our guiding principles. These are used daily in our guest communication & experiences. They have allowed us to verbalize our ethos and the entire team relies on them continuously. 

 

Dries and Yuri have a unique skill to sense brand perception and communication, its nuances and its effect on customers. Their impact has been significant as we reviewed the entire guest journey. Less is more and every word which did not contribute to the messaging throughout the journey and on our website was removed. 

 

Last but not least, in an attempt to place the brand on the map, the brand guys have put forward and rolled out two creative and incredibly successful PR concepts. Furthermore, at every meeting they come up with bright and creative ideas which make a difference. Working with them has been an incredible journey and learning experience for myself and our team.
